 os. 1–16\n\nTo commemorate the 200th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven
 ’s death\, the Berliner Klavierfesttage present an extraordinary musical
  undertaking: all 32 piano sonatas performed in chronological order across
  two monumental concert days\, each lasting approximately seven hours\, in
 cluding intermissions.\n\nAudiences are invited to immerse themselves in B
 eethoven’s musical world and experience the remarkable evolution of his 
 genius\, from the brilliance of his early compositions to the profound exp
 ression of his final masterpieces. Twenty outstanding pianists from around
  the world\, uniting exceptional young talents with internationally renown
 ed artists and distinguished professors\, will bring together generations\
 , musical traditions\, and artistic perspectives in a celebration of one o
 f classical music’s greatest legacies.\n\nPart I of this extraordinary m
 arathon presents Beethoven’s first 16 piano sonatas\, opening a remarkab
 le journey through the evolution of his musical language.\n\nTo allow audi
 ences to experience this musical journey at their own pace\, a short inter
 val will follow each sonata\, offering the opportunity to enter or leave t
 he concert hall between performances. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the en
 tire marathon or attend individual parts of the programme.\n\nTicket sales
