Virginia Benini<\/h1><\/div>

Virginia Benini earned her Master of Arts in Music Performance with honors at the
Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, where she studied with Federico Colli. She previously studied at the Conservatorio \u201cF. A. Bonporti\u201d in Trento with Massimiliano Mainolfi and attended the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik \u201cF. Liszt\u201d in Weimar as part of an Erasmus
program. She received artistic guidance from Konstantin Bogino at the Accademia Internazionale di Musica in Rome and the Accademia Perosi in Biella. She has participated in masterclasses with distinguished pianists including Benedetto Lupo, Dmitry Alexeev, Pavel Gililov, Michelle B\u00e9roff, Bruno Canino, Oxana Yablonskaya, Rena Shereshevskaya, Alexander Kobrin, Alberto Nos\u00e8, Grygory Gruzman, Lovro Pogorelic, Pavel Nersessian, Ksenia Knorre.
She has performed in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Russia, the United States, Turkey, and Sweden, appearing at prestigious festivals and she was invited to perform in Moscow for the centenary celebrations of the Russian Revolution.
An active chamber musician, she forms a permanent duo with violist Vittorio Benaglia, with whom she regularly performs. She was selected by theatre director Robert Wilson as Artist-in-Residence at the Watermill
Center in New York for the month of July 2025, where she performed at the Summer Benefit Gala alongside artists such as Isabella Rossellini and Francis K\u00e9r\u00e9. Alongside her concert activity, she is regularly invited to perform at exclusive events and private concerts in Italy, Switzerland, and internationally.
